Paraloid B-67 Barrier Coat (1 Lb.)

Use Paraloid B-67 Barrier Coat (1 lb.) crystals to apply a clear lacquer layer on objects to prevent inked numbers from bleeding into the object. The crystals are soluble in xylene, toluene, mineral spirits and aromatic solvents. The chemically inert crystals resist discoloring, aging, temperature changes and exposure. The coating may yellow slightly over time, but the resin has better working properties than B-72.

• Isobutyl methacrylate polymer is chemically inert and resistant to discoloring, aging, temperature changes and exposure
• Soluble in xylene, toluene, mineral spirits and aromatic solvents
• Test before using, especially on painted or unpainted nonporous surfaces; do not use on wax figures
• Barrier coats should only be used by trained conservators
