Our Gaylord Archival® Clear PET Clamshell Dome Lid Boxes (350-Pack) let you view stored specimens without opening the boxes. They are made from neutral, stable 100% virgin polyethylene terephthalate (PET), the same material used in Mylar® and Melinex®. PET contains an electronic-grade antistatic inherent in the material itself, not just a surface coating. It is a very good oxygen barrier, slowing oxygen-accelerated degradation, and also slows the transpiration of water vapor, buffering environmental changes.
- For storing specimens you want to view without opening the boxes
